IP:
Picture this: A young white boy wet behind ears//
Couldnt face his fears of public rapping, couldnt fight the tears// A nervous young man with the fear humiliation// Lost all concentration when he felt the stare's penetration// Lost all will and all hope of fame// All will to write rhymes, will to play the game// Heard of a sanctum for rappers from a friend down the street// Made a beat back for home and reclaimed his feet// He thought he could massacre any fool who dared to go// But his first two battles his opponents no showed...now hes 2-0// He would smile whenevr he looked at his score, he little teeth would gleam// But his record began plummeting, soon he was 2-15// He quit from there too, he couldn't the fact// That he needed to buckle down if he wanted his rep back// So he studied how the best did it, learned of metaphors// Learned of word play, multis, shit he'd never heard before// Upped his vocab to the point where he could distinguish himself// Practiced hours a day and he gained intelectual wealth// But now the moment came to have his day// So what people would say when he beat Hootie2k// A nervous heart beat was in his chest as he tuped those words// Using every tool he had ever seen or ever heard// Three days of waiting finally told him the outcome// The final score was 5-2...the little boy had won// The boy decided that he needed a crew, whether they dominate or bust// No one wanted him becuz of his record, so he created InFumUz// 3-15, not a happy or a bragging record but he proud nonetheless// Now he knew for a fact he could be the best// He started calling out vets, occasionally new-b for some repetiton// 4-15 now, he was rising into the elite competition// 1-N-Gone called him out, it was hit latest challenge// A respected vet with his punches, flows and metas all in balance// He poured his soul into that verse, he thought of vicous things to type// 1-N-Gone posted his verse that same night and his verse was just as tight// Four days of waiting, the boy almost never left the screen// He had tried so hard, if he lost he would have to scream// The votes trickled from vets with input, both good and bad// Soon it was 4-4, and a vet voted and the match was had// 5-4, the final score it took a second to realize// That he won and beat the vet, a tear leaked from his eye// InFumUz had flopped, but he found that saw how good he could be// The Productions wanted him, but he said fuck, I roll with B.R.E.// He battled some other people, soon he had won five straight// Yet he kept elevating, his formats looking great// So thats where he stands, rolling eith BRE// The story you have just heard was of me, A2Z// That was in honor of my 1000th post, and was a look back on my rap battles.com history...thank you for reading it |
