What am I...Afraid of....?
IP: CADA 5749
A girl with greasy curly blond hair, and tattered peasent clothes hangs her head down wearily as she leans against her chains, in a jail cell. A girl in a black robe walks into the cell, knealing down to see the face of the girl.
Girl in the black robe:: Renegade, you know you had it made... now... They gave you the chance, but you'd said you'd rather.. drown... Why do you wish to walk with your face impeded? You've done more than what our father's dreaded. You've killed your trust, you've killed yourself, You've embraced impure lust, you taught: (Echoed:)}}even innocent sincerely, so-dearly-justified-so-purely-empathized...yeah-that's-right... .... Melts....{{ (The robed girl then unlocks the hand cuffs, and stood up, solemnly then walked the girl slowly into the corridors.) Renegade: I've done what I thought was best... }}It's what you did..{{ I felt nothing then... tensing against my chest... }}Sure-ly we bid..{{ It was just a kiss, then things became at unrest... Snake or princess, we can't keep it on the wall, She says it was, but it aint my fault... Please, my minister, I'm not the sinister. Is it wrong, to love thy sister, and LOVE-TO-ONE another.... I becken, one has not a face to cover. (The Renegade is placed at a stand, as a rather voluptuous rag-a-muffin walks to her stand, as a judge is seated at his stand, between the two.) Maiden: She placed her hands against my Renegade: Jest! You jest! You said it was only your 'test!' You called me green- Maiden: Foul blasphamous creature, this is my sceen! I knew you were eager, just to hear any girl- Renegade: Obsene, you're mind is obsene, who could oppose, a girl wearing eveything from her neck to her toes, with her skin exposed. Maiden: I do not wear any less than you do, You said you were with one, you thought was true, but what about yourself, I can see your face turnin' blue. Renagade: Only with a green hue! After hearing you spew- out the words last time: "Baby girl I always loved you." Cloaked girl standing by the maiden, then tensed her fists, but then slapped the maiden, taking off the cloak, blond hair, up in a bun, her clothes were rather clean peasant clothes. She glared up at the maiden. Girl: I'm tired of your ways, you're never gonna change, you've been after my own blood, your cruelty is what I'm afraid of. You new she was my love, so you threw down your own glove. Taking her away, you-swine-well here comes mine. The jury will decide, which one has done right. Let me tell you this, no one's gonna be with you tonight. (The jurry murmer to themselves, until they all decide.) Jurry: As much as we would love, the decision was tough... We've seen it all- We've seen enough. Forget maiden, you're out of luck. Maiden: ...... Hm...hm... Keep in touch! (the Maiden got away in a red puff of smoke.) ::This poem is just a fine memory, of some temptress that tried to get to me... when she knew damn well .. I loved a girl, that she made me lose then... And I now I have her back... ^^ slightly... She tends to space out... e.e;; ~*pokes Faye*~... ~*Faye falls over snoring.*~ Or just sleeps... Eheh...:: Last edited by Sherly Critical : 10-23-03 at 07:16 PM. |

riiight, interesting. You ever think of writtin plays for a livin? Cause there was some dramatic points in that peice most definatly! Some things that went over my head because of the lower constant rhyming but that did create a sense of urgency in the last few parts. This was a good peice, creative, not your everyday poem like half of us on her shell out. Good lookin, welcome to RB, an I'll be peepin more of ya stuff in the future. Peace

This strikes me more akin to role playing than poetic scriptures.. But, I guess poetry is to poetry to the writer..
Ive read another of your peices, and the format was similar if I remember correctly. You do have a unique style, and your creativity is evident.. I dunno though, I just cant get into this style of writing, its a personal shortcoming of my own so dont take it personally. Still an interesting read.
