Rob D & Baron God - They Just Dont Get It

IP:

i replied to: Snakeyes - True Lies

Baron replied to: Walter Wall - Maturity
fgee - suicide dream

On the quest for lost inspiration, i tried to Reconfigure
the artists that Lost the Picture along w. the Costs and Fixtures
Its all liquor, platinum and ice, not what matters inside
is this what happens when life,
means less than what your rapping or write?
im lacking the fight to challenge our cultures hurried destruction
but am i worried over nothing, is the subject of disscusion. .

See, some people feel its good the two genre's have Crossed Over,
"the whole 'hip-pop' era can only bring our culture more Exposure"
these Folks Are kidding me, right?! because There's No Way,
the same kids singing to britney'll be bobbing their Heads to Cage!
girls Wearing Braids, bubble gum teens hearing D. Stroy and,
turning on Celph after learnin the lyrics of their favourite boy band?
"But im not trying to stay underground as a Rhyme Prophet,
I'd rather sell out. . and then see My Pockets, Sky Rocket!"
Guys, Honestly. . what goods money if you cant voice your opinion,
your just a manufactured gimick, made to appeal to the children.

whatever happened to 'fight the power?' another misconstrued idea,
seems rappers today are being controlled by a puppeteer,
corrupt radio stations, forcing them to adhere,
because the only emcees 'keepin it real',no-one gets to hear,
the sheer ignorance, that cars and ice have relevance,
when across the world, theres millions of starving infants,
hip hop used to be a social commentry,
now watered down and disolved into music for a party,
placed in the same bracket as pop and RnB,
it'll merge into one eventually, even ex spice girls are wannabe emcees,
now big business, hip hop caught the attention of big companys,
faceless corporations gained interest now our music is worth mega money,
my love for the culture, starts to slowly fade,
ripped away by the people who invade, and caused it to mutate,
