Wow.. yeah.. I was getting over some baaad writer's block and going through some bad times when I wrote this..

You kill people, you give them death,
but yet, you love us?
You forgive us of our sins and forgive those who trespass against us,
but then you kill us and make us suffer heart break and rape,
but yet, you love us?
You kill the good people, that help the people in need,
You let the mother fucker live that raped me,
But yet, you love us?
It seems like you punish the good people, that help each other,
and reward the people that constantly beat on one another,
but yet, you love us?
Countries bombing other countries,
Races hating other races,
You're forcing us to live with this,
but yet you love us?
Destruction, fighting, descrimination,
You expect us to do anything but hating,
When that's all we can see while we grow up...
but yet you love us?
I cant and wont think that you love me,
but you're putting me through pain and grief,
putting the rest of the world up to test their belief,
Everyone says that gods this almighty presence there to help me,
but I've got to say right now.. I disagree.

You must also recognize that he gave us free will
And with that free will
We choose to kill
We choose to hate
We choose to suffer.
We have to stop looking elsewhere for answers
And start looking inside ourselves
Deem our own humanity, are we worthy?
Most of all,
We need to stop playing the victim.

Gurl, doesnt seem like u came out of writers block. This is one of those that got me. Especially the first part. Many questions feel like they need to be answered, so we ask them...even if we wont get an answer. Idk if that makes any sense or not. Everything was great on this, once again.

yeah.. see what's funny is back before my dad almost died.. I woulda still believed every word of this poem.. but now I realize that sometimes shit just happens.. we have to take the good with the bad.. sometimes it just feels like the bad outweighs the good.. everything works out.

some times writers block can be the best thing to happen to a poet, as weird as it seems, because ususaly when you do break out of it the results are great, like this piece.

you can see your confussion and anger, in this piece, you did a good job putting it in words, and showing your thoughts, and questions, even if they cant be answered. but remember things always get better, it all depends on what u make it.

it was well written, the structure was good and it flowed well. yet you still loved us, was a strong line in this piece, and repeating it made it that much more effective.

remember also that god he does give us death, but he also gives us new life, babies and children, new lives. and yes he does give us heart break and rape, but with each horrid thing it makes us stronger in a way, and just like writers block, it can give us the most beautiful things in return, and i know that may sound off the hook and crazy, but it happened to me, i was raped and heart broken in one, but i ended up with the most beautiful child, the one true person in my life for along time. so like said things even out just hold your head high. my love.

sometimes we are faced with the bad but we have to look beyond for the brighter day, and everything happens for a reason, we only get angry b/c we want to know at the wrong times, but when it's time, you'll see and realize, and your situation will be better
