never heard of making beats on Cool Edit, but if its possible, use samples from old songs, check the all the help u need trhead its stickied it has a bunch of sample links and 100-110 is a good praty beat

Yea you can make beats with cool edit but its like a homo workin on a pussy. Its just not normal. whoever told you, you can make beats with cool edit needs to turn to the strait fo real. get FL 4.1 or if you want to limit yourself get reason. eather way better chose than tryin to make more work for youself than you need. dont go the homo road.
