What are some tips for bass lines and melodies in Fruity Loops?

I have been playing around with it for a while, did some mediocore tracks, but I still need some tips, they still dont seem to get right, Cansomeone help?

^^based on that post... its makes it seem as if you don't know how to make a bassline or a melody... and you need some music theory tips.... therefore... thats the reason why cats responded the way they did... and your gettin' upset... cuz you didn't explain your problem correctly.......lol
