For torrents, I use bittorent w/ the burst! gui. Finding the torrents, I use www.thepiratebay.org
A large majority of the time, I get the movies off the alt.binaries.movies.divx newsgroup using newsleecher

Theres also a variety of torrent programs, the one I use it called uTorrent.
