Eminem-encore

IP:

many are critical of this album but it is one where eminems lyrics and rhymes are very strong. in this album he shows he has improved as a rapper.

track 2-"EVIL DEEDS" talkin about his past with his mum and how his dad abondoned him which made him do evil deeds. well written and good beat to emphasise it. 7/10

track 3 which is 'NEVER ENOUGH" features nate dogg and 50. The standout is Eminems verse as he keeps it on the same rhyme scheme and flows it fluently. 8.5/10

Track 4-"YELLOW BRICK ROAD" another track about his past. this one focusing on his school life and also how he went out wif a black gurl because she liked his rappin. very heartfelt and lyrics strong here. 7.5/10

track 5-"LIKE TOY SOLDIERS" we have all heard this and its all about beef in the rap industry and how it should stop. good sample. 8/10

track 6-"MOSH" at political stab at george bush is very well crafted and written. the opening lines of verse one hit hard. verse 3 claims the bin laden tapes are all fake and mentions if he gets sniped its because he told us to fight against bush. great track. 8.5/10

track 7-'PUKE' a track which has a 'no-feeling' about it. he claims he pukes everytime he thinks of a person, which obviously is kim. average track. 5/10

track 8-"MY FIRST SINGLE"a fast rhythmic clutting beat. very funny track where disses many people like christopher reeves, paris and nicky hilton and also about her porn vid, mark ferman and more. 6/10

track 9-"PAUL CALLS EM" a real answering machine message where em's manager tells him that michael jackson is upset about the just lose it video.

track 10" RAIN MAN" an obvious mock of christopher reeves and a very funny track. verse 1 is very strong and em's rhyme scheme is on top of its game. very dope beat, probably slim shady's best track ever. 8/10

track 11"BIG WEENIE" a slim shady track here, quite funny. goodish track. 6.5/10

track 12"EM CALLS PAUL" eminem talks in a robotic almost christopher reeves-like voice here. he jokes and says how much he loves michael jackson in a sexual way.

track 13"JUST LOSE IT" nothing to say here. a stab at michael and you've seen the clip to know its funny. 6.5/10

track 14"ASS LIKE THAT" he talks about all the nice asses of famous celebrities such as jessica simpson, olsen twins, gwen stefani and hilary duff. mentions pee wee herman and arnold swachzennagger too. hilarious, enough said. 6/10

track 15"SPEND SOME TIME" features obie trice, stat quo and 50 cent. all of them talkin about a past love and how sex was all they wanted. good sample. 7.5/10

track 16"MOCKINGBIRD" a marshall mathers song to his daughter and neice hailie and laney. well flowed. 7.5/10

track 17"CRAZY IN LOVE" uses a sample very well. goodish beat. strong flow, technique and rhyme scheme in this track. very well flowed is the line:

'like a devil in disguise, you're always full of surprises"
always pulling devices out your purse, little vibrators"

you need to hear it to see what i mean. 8/10

track 18"ONE SHOT 2 SHOT" a very good D-12 track here. good beat. a track about all of them being at some function and then a rival clique carshes the party. theres humour to make this one of the best D12 tracks ever made. u need to hear it. very good. 8.5/10

track 19"FINAL THOUGHT" a skit where you can hear him loading a gun and the crowd chanting his name.

track 20"ENCORE". very catchy, good track featuring Dr. Dre and 50 cent. 50 just backup sings the chorus wit em while dre and eminem spit the verses in partnership. it talks about how eminem doesen't want to leave the rap game wit out sayin goodbye. also a hint that after a long break eminem and dr. dre will co-host an album in late 2006, early 2007. so look out for that. 7.5/10

a very good album and in my opinion just beats "THE EMINEM SHOW". a lot of you guys hate this album but you nedd to listen between the lines. when i listen to albums one of the main things for me are the ill, skilled and unique rhymes. 'NEVER ENOUGH', 'MOSH', 'LIKE TOY SOLDIERS', 'CRAZY IN LOVE', 'YELLOW BRICK ROAD all emphazised this. his lyrics are ver good, the way he plays with words and every syllable is unbelievable in some lines of his verses. And he doesn't rap abt any shit, hes always based a track on telling a story. as a lyricist, eminem is up there with the likes of Rakim, Kanye West, Jadakiss, Jay-Z. He could even top that list.

one more thing

IP:

track 1"CURTAINS UP" a skit almost the same to track 19. the crowd making noise and him fidgeting wit a gun. it leads in to "EVIL DEEDS" very nicely.

That pretty much puts your thought process on the same level as a mentally retarded person.

I only enjoyed a couple of songs on it...

"Mosh" and "Like Toy Soldiers" were the ones that stood out more for me.

Rainman was good...but ehh...Slim Shady is a thing of the past.

The shit that was the bonus disc had been releases on other shit prior to the CD. That shit wasn't new. And you're right, the Marshall Mathers LP was better, so was Infinite, so was Slim Shady EP, Slim Shady LP, the fucking Eminem Show. So, I've come to the conclusion that Encore pretty much sucked.
