Samples & a Beat Program

IP:

Howdy my niggas!

I wanna know where I can get some samples to add to the background of my beats. Some of them sound empty and I can't do anything else to the track to make it better.....

which brings me to my next question. Does anyone know any good beat-makin program that has the same structure as Fruity Loops? I like Fruity Loops but I think it's sub-par until I can get some more sounds for it.

Fuck it, I'll ask another question....for anyone who has Fruity Loops, is there a way to change the tempo of individual lines instead of all the lines at one time?

Aight, I'm done so peace out whodie-son.

don't think ya can change the tempo of individual lines in fruity, but neway ya shud upgrade to reason 2.0 or cubase. About the sample questions, there are hundreds of sampels available on the net, check out IRC, ask aroun on there and you'll find a few channels dedicated to samples!

hit me up on AIM if ya want: Banzai0161

You can rip samples off cd's if yours sound empty dice. Or even better, export them to another program (i use cool edit) where you can add gain, reverb, echo, phasing, panning etc. It's well easy. Good luck
