Breakdown of your favorite Emcees
IP:
Niggaz had a lil Dorm arguement last night so i decided to put it up here. Besides, class is out early
So i'mma breakdown some emcees on strength, weakness, dopest album, worse album, best decision, worse, dopest line if i can think of it, and worse line if i can think of it, and predicition, lets jump if off 50 Cent Strength-Can be seen as inspiration since he got shot, Has the physical appearance to keep the sales ringing in, rolls wit Eminem Weakness-he is Wack, The lingering rumor of him being a snitch is starting to eat away at the Street Cred he has left, Starting to believe anything he puts out is dope so is showing signs of laziness by weak lines. Best album-50 Cent is the Future Worse album-Beg for Mercy Best Song-How to Rob Worse Song-Ghetto Qu'ran (need proof of snitching? listenning to that shit) Dopest line-" Wake up from nightmares tossing and turning/When i close my eyes i can feel the shells burning" Worse line-"That shit about "after the awards show my baby momma cussed my ass out/we back again cool now like Puffy and Steve Stout" Good choices- Picking Ja Rule to have a beef with, because if you do the history Ghostface,DMX,Jay-Z,and Keith Murray all dissed him back, but when he went public he picked Ja Rule out of all them to take it to the masses with. Also teaming up with Shady Aftermath, got him instant attention. Bad choices-Listenning to people that have no clue about hiphop when they tell him he is dope and blaza blaza blaza. Now he is lazy and getting annoying to see just like Master P was. Prediction-Eventually he'll level off, and if more strange shit comes up about his fabricated past he'll be finished on the street level, which eventually translates to the commerical scene. Fat Joe Strength-Has the respect of hiphop heads from his work with DITC,Showbiz,AG,Kool G Rap, and Nas Weakness-Since Pun died his level of lyrics have shown to be weak, Trying to hard to create hits and is losing the respect he spent 10 years gaining by doing songs with Ashanti, and Nick Cannon. Best Album-DITC Worse Album-JOSE Best Song-"Twinz" Worse Song-"We Clubbing" Dopest line-"Cuz Joe Crack plus Gats equal a lot of dead mouthafuckaz" Worse line-pick one from "We Clubbing" Good Choices-Discovering Pun, probably without Him finding Pun, Pun might not of been able to reach the level of success he found. Bad Choices-Doing an album that he set out only to move units with, picking a fued with Jay-Z then getting his ass emberressed by him, Losing the Terror Squad (mainly Remy Martin),Being seen in public with Nick Cannon and sayin "yeah man Nick makes good music and thats what i'm all about" Prediction-he'll fall off, he is riding the sucess of being Puerto Rican right now that'll fade away quickly. Nas Strength-Wisdom,good Creativity at times, Delivery Weakness-Changes himself too much, Inconsistant, Best Album-It was Written Worse Album-Nastradamus Best Song-"One Mic" Worse Song-"U Owe me" ft. Ginuwine Best Line-Let me let ya'll niggaz know one thing/there is one life one love so there can only be one king/ Worse Line-"Getting crunk wit Lil John he the livest in the South/mess around and you get Wires in ya mouth" Good Choices-Standing on his own two feet for so long, makes him seem stronger, Responding to Jay'Z,it made his career Bad Choices-Teaming up with Murda Inc then dropping out, Bravehearts seem to bring his level of lyrical power down so he won't overshadow them, holding on to his and Jay-Z's battle 4 to long after repeating "i aint saying nothing on that that battle is over lets move foward" Prediction-Who knows with Nas, but it seems his best days are behind him.I'll say he'll drop about 2 more albums then retire DMX Strength-Never lost that hunger he had from his first album, The most intense emcee ever, also very though provoking at times. At times gave some of the most insightful lines heard. Good Voice and Delivery, Good storyteller Weakness-Lack of creativity, Never grew lyrically. Best Album-Its Dark and Hell is Hot Worse Album-Grand Champ Best Song-"Damien" Worse Song-"Get it on the Floor" Dopest Line-Somebody pick one Worse Line-"Last i heard u cowards was having sex/with the same sex" Zero Creativity Good choice-Staying with the same Team, no other label could handle DMX Bad Choice-Picking a fued with Ja Rule out of the blue, made him seem jealous like a mouthafucka, also made it look like he was doing it just for attention, also his acting career is one bad choice after another one. Prediction-He is retired so i say he'll stay retired, started off maybe being able to break the top 10 of All time on my list, left not even being on the top 10 of RIGHT NOW. Ghostface Killa- Strength-without a doubt the most creative Emcee of all time, probably top 3 on most respected emcees of today, think about it, he calls EVERYBODY out to battle him all the Time, yet nobody ever accepts the challenge, one of the best storytellers of all time Weakness-too much creativity, makes it almost impossible to understand his ass from time to time Best Album-Supreme Clientele, if u don't wanna count the classic as part of The Wu Tang Clan Worse Album-Bulletproof Wallets Best Song-"All that i got iz U" (I know of a lot of dope ass songs that 90% of ya'll probably have never heard so i 'll go wit something ya'll know Worse Song-"Never B the Same again"Featuring Carl Thomas Dopest Line-2 many to pick from Worse line-"Maybe he came up with the right flow, bigger dick more dough must of been the best though" Just cuz its from his worse song Good Choices-Rolling wit Wu-Tang Clan, Changing labels. Bad Choices-Refusing to dumb down his creativity,(I love it but it;ll hold his record sales back) Prediction-Will never get the respect he deserves from the masses. But he don't give a fuck in his own worse "Anybody that aint got me on they top 10 of all time list don't like hiphop and i don't give a fuck if they got heartbeats" I'm tired so i'll post the rest in a minute i'm going to eat some good ol fashioned home made Ramien Noodles |

Rakim-
Strength-His lyrical ability is without equal. Hes number 1 and so far ahead the next person has to be ranked 3rd... thats probably KRS One Weakness- His live concerts are not for the party type. You have to sit back and just listen. Best Album- Paid in Full Worse Album-Anyone that is in the making, for its lack of being in my CD player Best Song- Can be argued to death, but my two favorites are 'My Melody' and 'Pain in Full' Worse Song- N/A Dopest Line-Take a phrase thats rarly heard, flip it...now its a daily word Worse line- N/A Good Choices-Picking up a mic Bad Choices-The loss of Eric B. Prediction- Will never the credit he deserves. No one has yet to be as good as he is, yet he is not automatically number 1 in any rap list |

what the fuck lmao u took all that time to do that?? well ima break down an emcee, hes not necessarily my favorite but definately one of them....
Canibus: Strengths: amazing lyrics.. hes on the genius tip, 90% of his verses have me literally like "Damn!".. the shit he comes out wit is amazing. knows how to ride a beat well, and he's got that raw battle presence... Weakness: He's a true underground head.. meaning he aint willing to adapt and become an appeal to the mainstream, he aint finna sell out.. which limits his user base and the amount of people he will appeal to peace..... |

Rass Kass
Strength-lyrical genius, plain and simple weakness-clearly he only wants to win on his own terms, fought some kid from D12 which ruined his chances of getting in Aftermath, disses white people which further ruin his chances of getting with aftermath, and sometimes stretches rhyme pattern too far 2 fit shit in best CD-Van Gogh Worse CD-that one that says "Golden State Project" simple cuz Defari fucks it up Best song-"Waterproof Emcee" Worse song-that lame shit wit Mac 10 Best Line-"Anglosaxien factions is packing mac tens training for helta skelta win the race ware begins" or "u running around in thousand dolla clown suits better get some boots b4 they turn ya city to Barut" Worse line-"I got a Master P like Master P" which is from a drunk freestyle that he eventually went on to murder good choices-sticking to his guns and not changing up for nobody bad choices-beating up that D12 member prediction-eventually he'll get his shot, he is 2 dope not to, even Canibus got his shot to shine but fucked it up wit his debut album, after Rass gets out of jail i predict his shit will only be doper |

Mr X to the Z, Xzibit
strengths: an amazing live performer with limitless energy, also shown himself to a be strong battle emcee as well, able to rap about a wide variety of subject convincingly and not just the "gangsta shit" which the west coast is stuck on weaknesses: commerical success meant xzibit has gotten lazy, hes developed a habit of rapping about rapping on his latest 2 releases. best cd: arguably the "speed of life" worst cd: restless best song: either papparatzi or foundation worst song: back to la with mop, god i hate those motherfuckers! best line(s): "i was anxious as fuck to see your face shine/ only to see your face looked like mine/ so its like i'm living twice at the exact same time/ worst line: pick one from either "u know" or that other one with dre off man vs machine good choices: getting dre to produce some of his tracks, getting eminem to star on some. hanging around with rass kass. bad choices: getting lazy with success, hanging around with d-12 and saafir |

Joe Budden Strength-metaphor king, shares his story, aint a "gangsta rapper", nice freestyler weakness-flow is too like Jay-Z's, annoying when he changes his voice, Good choices-taking his beat back from Jay-Z on the 'pump it up' beat, made him respected bad choice-letting that corny ass "pump it up" video get out of the basement best line-"that bullshit ya'll selling i aint buying/it don't add up everybody is a killa yet the murder rate is steady declinning/ worse line-that bullshit "PLAYA" shit he said 10000 times on 'pump it up' or 'we pump diesel i aint talking bout jeans and fitted WAIT" can't say best or worse album cuz he only had one |

I got alot of fav mc's, heres one:
Immortal Technique Strength - Outstanding lyricist, he speaks the truth and nothin' but...he got everything you'd want in a rapper IMO. Weakness - He overuses vocab a bit, you can tell by his breath control and the flow is affected by this. Best Album Revolutionary Vol.2 Best Song Peruvian Cocaine - theres alot of good shit by him. Worst Song Spend Some Time [remix] Best Line (theres alot) "I'll bust of on her face, and right after the segment she'll propably rub it in her pussy, trying to get herself pregnant" |

Aesop Rock
Strengths: Wordplay, very creative, some really dope lines, flow.. fairly consistent Weakness: Sounds like a machine, hard to understand what hes saying some (most) times. Will not appeal to any mainstream fan therefore will remain a poor guy in NY for the rest of his life unless people suddenly begin to enjoy a man who sounds like a machine and spits vocab out of a biology textbook. Best Album: Labor Days Worst Album: Bazooka Tooth Best Song: 9 to 5er's anthem :P Worst Song: none are really that bad |
