it's not that hard, for example, look at the wave pattern, then you would know when the beat starts. but whatever

excactly...music on track 1,
verses on track 2, chorus track 3, overdubs track 4, etc. It's actually better if it's broken up into different tracks because then you can apply effects seperately to the differenct sections. Once you finish a track you can save it as a wav (higher quality) or an mp3 (lower quality). If you save it as a wav then you can easily convert it to mp3 using Music Match software later on.
