Anyone seen this yet? Stars Emile Hirsch as Matthew, a high school senior who realizes that he hasn't done anything memorable in high school and Elisha Cuthbert as Danielle, the ex-pornstar who moves in next door and encourages Matthew to "just go with it". This was scheduled to be released this month, but was moved back to April 9th. I remember seeing the tv spots last month and my opinion is that whoever made the trailers did a bad job representing the movie. The trailers gave the impression that the movie was basically another Not Another Teen Movie type film, but after watching it, it was actually pretty well written. Last night, I noticed the new tv trailers for the movie promoting the sneak preview on 3/20 and they were a lot better.

The movie had a decent plot, a bit unrealistic, but wasn't way out there. Emile Hirsch did a good job with his character and his acting. Cuthbert's character wasn't developed enough in my opinion, so she was basically there for the eye candy... and yes, she did look hot. If you are expecting to see her naked in the movie, you'll be slightly disappointed. I guess you'll have to live with Hirsch running down the street buck-naked. Chris Marquette, who plays Eli, one of Matthew's friends was hilarious and had some great lines. Timothy Olyphant was great with his role as being the bad guy of the movie, with the camera doing a lot of in-your-face closeups of him to reinforce this. The soundtrack was mainly older rock, but was selected and fit into the movie very well.
