For all of you who dont know, in a real battle punches win battles. NOt multi, structure, hardass and hilarious punchlines thats what wins battles. Ask yourself this how many battles have you been too, and how many times have you heard someone say nice multis, or he had nice structure, probably never. I realize this is an internet forum, but battlin is battlin. So when yall are voting on battles think of it like this, how would you react if you heard someone drop an ill line in a battle, if the answer is Ohhhhh shit, then somebody is dropping some punches. I see so many cats voting on battles and they dont put enought weight on cats that have punchlines, that is the ESSENCE of a battle. Please recognize and elevate your voting. One more thing dickriders ruin this site, please vote honestly. Elevate. Peace..........

Punches = 35%
Creativity/Originality = 25%
Flow = 15%
Vocab/Wordplay = 10%
Multis = 5%
How it all fits in = 10%

Basically, a nice punch is even better when its original or creative and when it has nice vocab and wordlplay so it all kinda ties in. And yeah, multis are only important in a tight battle.

I know where you`re commin from....but if you have a dope ass punch and no structure and all the other shit...its still crap....

You have to put all this shit togheter...and make a crazy punch WITH multies and metas+all the other stuff....

But yea I agree that most of the cats think if they have a whole verse out of multies that thats gonna bring them the win......those guys often stop battlin after bout 3 battles.....

I like droppin a few multi's in my shit but I drop a punch in every line. I also think that Personals are very important. If you can't see the person you are battlin, this gets a little tricky but I find ways to land multiple personals per battle. Punches Win Battles!!!!!!!! People need to stop votin for the multis that hit and start votin for the creativity of the punches..............
