What kind of Mic to buy

I'm settin up a home studio and I wanted to know what kind of mic should I buy I have seen alot on ebay but I don't know much about mic's. I just got a Maya 7.1 SoundCard so I'm lookin for a good mic for it for maybe about 50-100

mics
IP:
get a condenser mic. try akg c3000, shure condensers, just find a nice affordable condenser. dynamic mics dont get that clarity. usually
