Perfect And Assonance Rhyming

Can anybody help me what these two parts of rhyming which is important for me to know. I know how to perfect rhyme but why do we have to involve assonance to a bar I'd just like to know that info. I just basically need to know how to rhyme the best way and if there are any rules to rhyming and need it demonstrated or told how to... there is it sometimes its in the amount of syllables, like on-to-you to don-or-two...some shit like that, and it doesnt have to be the same last letters it just has to be the sound that rhymes

and you can use assonance example feel need, shape take, shit, bricks there
