Da Vinci's $500,000.00 Riddle!!!
IP:
You are in a two story house. Upstairs there is one room. Downstairs there are three rooms. Upstairs there are three light switches. Each lightswitch controls one bulb in each of the three rooms down stairs. Your job is to find out which light switch goes to which room. You can not use any assistance from other people, strings, mirrors as you are by yourself. How do you do this with only going downstairs once and not being able to come back up.

1. Take a saw.
2. Cut holes in the floors of each room above one with a light switch. 3. Turn on a switch. 4. Lean down through the holes and look until you find the bulb that was lit. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as necessary

Try all of the switches until you figure out which one lights the room at the bottom of the stairs. Then put one of the others back into the off position. When you go downstairs you will know which switches turned on which lights
