ok... look.. the amplifyer, AMP the mic signal, because the mics signal is so small.. depending on what mic you have, Condensor to Dynamic mics.... eithe r way you need a amplifyer... now for good quality, you would hook that up to a good recording sound card (they run from any where form like 79 - 700 bucks).. mine was $400.... for crappy for fun quality, just hook ya mic to the amp, then from the amp you go strait to the computer MIC-in.. eh..get at me on aim ... i'll teach bout the shit
