Hitchin Up A Review

IP:

Hitch

Hitch is one of those movies where some guys I saw had a pen and paper. The main character, nicknamed Hitch, is played by Will Smith and is a helper for guys who need help to get the woman of their dreams. He doesn't like to be tied down for long, or get to serious, but he ends up falling in love with a woman, and that's when his troubles start.

The movie starts out with some of Will Smith's clients and he explains his methods. Well then we go to this guy, and best way I can explain him, is that he is like CALI, only bigger, dumber, and has less class.

Now good comedy is something very few people can do, and WIll Smith does an ok job at doing it. A lot of poor comedies try to be so dumb you laugh, but Will Smith tries to stay away from that, but the bad thing is that you don't laugh a lot. The comedy was a bit hardcore (Not as bad as Old Eddie Murphy, but not exactly completely clean.) But it's not bad, so don't worry pussies.

Overall Hitch compiles a lot into the comedy. Has your obvious twists, turns, and all that. If you have watched 4 movies then you will see all the twists 10 minutes ahead, but they are still fine. I think this movie is good for people to watch, but as for buying if you find this insanely funny be my guest, but I am waiting for HBO.

just got back from seeing it...was pretty damn funny and of course heartfelt...it was less typical because the "match maker" actually did it for a living instead of being your typical movie where a "friend" is playing that roll...and the couples were mostly unlikely to really be together...for the most part it was good, but it's a romantic comedy, they have the same basic basis, "happily ever after"...but it WAS worth my 5 $ bill ...
