they probly heard main stream hip hop like, old mystikal/master p garbage, or some silly ja-rule crap... When thats all the garbage they play on the radio people get turned off quick... If the radio played nothing but non-phixion, el-p, roots, mos-def, talib kweli etc. people would have a much different view of what hip hop really is.

Oh well, that's you and that's me. EVERYTHING I seen/heard from Manson is horrible, not tryna listen to some b/s, that's how the rap haters think, the thing about the anti-rap niggas is that they think rappers talk about money and hoes, they don't talk about the actual lyrics or the beat or anything, they talk about substance. I don't like heavy metal and all that is cuz the beat sucks to me, it's just random screaming most of the time and I can't reallly make out what they're saying. I have my reasons, others don't.
