Everybody knows that Fifty and Dipset made their way thru the industry using the mixtape circuit. Well I am trying to push more indie artist into that myself. I am putting together a mixtape that features artist from NYC all the way out to Denver, CO., and a lot of places in between. It will be a volume two to "Tha Best of Tha Best" and will be distributed for free thru Harvest MG to Best Buys across middle america, free with purchase of anything in the store that is. Due to a movie copywrite law, I am goin to have to call this one something else. It will also feature an unheard Big L song (not even on his new album about to drop). I will not use other peoples beats like jayz, nas, em, etc., I can use your beat if it is original, but i would prefer for all the beats to be mine. The cost for one song is 25 and for 2 is 40. You will also get 100 of the cd's yourself to sell, hand out, whatever with, and I will give you the rights to the beat to use at shows. Besides the 100 that you are giving, we are goin to print up 3,000 to be distributed, so please serious people only hit me up at Rhymerelated77@yahoo.com please title the subject mixtape because I get over 100 emails a day. Send me a link to your music or an mp3 attachment. This is a perfect chance to get your name out, just think, if 20 other mc's are on the cd from across the country, they all get 100, then 2000 will b floating around the country not counting the 3000 that I am getting put into stores for free, so your looking at hitting roughly 5000 people.
