Does anybody record with the compression effect on? if so why, and if not why not? I don't, but some people have been telling me to, what do you think?

i dont, i apply the compression after the mono verse is layed down.... Do you mean Actullay record with the compresion effect on in real time??? cause you prb would need a good computer to keep up wit that.... what program are you using>>???
