...We keep hearing how its one of the #1 killlers among young people and minorities, yet ever since the death of Easy-E, and Magic Johnson and Tommy Morrison (The Boxer) came clean about their positive test results in the early 90's, there have been no High-profile cases in the last 10+ years...


...What the hell is goin on??..With the groupies, and fast lifestyles that athletes/musicians/actors live, Its safe to assume that SOMEBODY famous has contracted HIV in the last decade, right?...


...Is there some secret vaccine that only people with $$$$ have access to??


..When does a Lil' John, The Rock or Christina Aguilera call a press confrence (A-la Magic) to announce the contraction of the AIDs/HIV virus???

I'm sure there are some celebs who have contracted it. But you have
to assume that they don't want it to be publicly known for lots of reasons.
One it would be detramental to their carrer to be the actor/actress/athlete
who is known to have hiv. Who's going to want to hire them? Or have them
on their team. Second, it would be a publicity nightmare. Imagine all of
the bad press and attention they would get. With the paparatzi(spelling?)
situation already being bad it would probably be ten fold if they came out
and announced it. Last, it's embarrassing and really is a personal issue.
Just because of status they shouldn't have to inform us the public of something like that. Everyone has the right to privacy; celebs
and athletes being no different.
