Coming from a negative aspect I see a backlash Like a worn out backsplash I render myself useless. Not knowing where I came from you would dismiss this, but if you do know you would see truth that can’t be fixed. Lies, slurs, all of which are now a blur, looking now I wish I could see, the person God wants me to be Right now I’m troubled with everything I know. Right now I’m scared at what I will show. Will it be right? Will it be just? Or will it be troubled, will it be cussed? Ugly duckling, that’s what I once was, still am now, just different cuz God changed me, made me whole, still got some unanswered soul searchin to unfold. He is showin me a path, that leads to him, I just pray I follow it and search for him He gave me another chance, another life, another dance. Now I use my past with me, to help others let them see it empty. I don’t let it bother me much anymore, but sometimes dark thoughts creep through my soul’s door. Life ain’t easy being on another side of the fence, the other side may be greener but the grass is thicker and dense. Holding on to my faith, lookin through a mirror at my face, seein all the things I’ve seen, reflect back at me in an open dream. Learn from it, steal from it, use all that you can, cuz one day it might be needy to have my information at hand. This dreadful world be swallowin some folks up, like a great white that’s just starting to warm up. What to do, what to do, spread the Word, mass produce. In the end, it’ll all be good, my life will be run, mysteries understood. Don’t need to know who I am, don’t need to know where I”ll be, cuz that’s for me to figure out, find out your own destiny!

I liked this, may work a little bit on structure but overall this was a good piece. I think it would make a nice audio track actually if you made it bit longer. Concept was good, I like how you posed questions and how you switched back and forward between different emotions and thoughts. Went nicely into detail about the person's ideas and "reflections" as the title says. Emotion was nice, good written and interesting to read. Keep it up gurl!
