Holla at me, Here's the deal...

I re-formatted my comp, And my mom has a comp too and she has dsl...

so when i put her modem in my usb port in the comp, How do i install this modem? for some reason it keeps sayin ''install wizard could not detect the modem''......

anybody know whassup with this?

I dont know about DSL modems but most don't come with software.

Go in to control Panal...

Add / Remove programs

Add New Program

It should be able to find the modem on USB that way hope this helps.

I dont think it did come with sfotware, The only thing that came with software concerning dsl was the dsl internet provider to install on your comp, but thanks yo, I'll try the control panel thing...

^your question had alredy been answered...so i thought id take da piss putta efecx

without a software disc--which you almost certainly need for a DSL modem as non-standard drivers are installed specific to that modem along with maintenance software and the usual comapny add-ons...your best chance would be tryin compose's add/new programs route....or getting the name and model of your modem and googleing it and search for the relevant drivers which you may be able to dload...

Ok but, before i re-formatted my computer i didnt need a disc to install the modem now all of a sudden my comp cant detect the modem when its plugged into the usb.......

On the modem theres 2 lights, both light up green when modem is available and ready for use, but for some reason theres only 1 light working and it lights up red..........the fuck is that suppose to mean? lol....
