A stroke makes half your body paralised..

Like, right down the middle..
Its a fucked thing to happen ay, stroke patients cant even eat properly cause half of their mouth is compleatly numb and feelingless so their food drops out and shit..

I'm not an expert on them so I dunno if people are able to recover compleatly from it or not... But I know that excersize and eating healthy will prevent them...

it depends on how bad the stroke actually was, there are varying degrees, my grandmother had a 'mini stroke' and she was fine after some physio and hospital treatment, but she had a more serious one about a year later and she was fucked after that. She lost a lot of sight, memory, ability to speak, things were hard for her. But it all depends on the severity of the stroke itself. Im sorry to hear about that tho, and i hope all goes well for him.

My mom had a full stroke 12 years ago I think, had amnesia and had to learn everything all over again. Then she had 6 or 7 mini strokes in the past 2 months in and out of the hospital, she had to take blood thinners and they finally put her on a drug called Cumadin, she has to take it for the rest of her life. A cause of this is she had a hole in her heart...they said 25% of all babies have holes in their hearts and they close by the age of 12 or less but hers didnt close...the left side of the heart is never suppose to go into the right side but hers was being mixed so the blood flow fucked up causing the strokes. She still has the hole and they havent figured out if she needs surgery or not to close it.

As for your dad the hole thing could possibly be the problem, the blood is too thick, or the veins are just being clogged up fucking up the blood flow, im not an expert but thats what i've learned from whats happenin to my mom.

And it depends on the magnitude of the stroke to realize if hes paralyzed forever or not...hes gonna have to take a shitload of tests, theres 2 or 3 tests that they take so many times too.

it realli depends on where the stroke occured in the brain, and how severe it was...so yall need to ask where it was and how bad of a stroke was it...cuz if it was bad, he probably wont recover...

yeah, my g-pa had one, you can basically lose the usage of one whole side of your body or just parts... but it CAN only last for a little bit, like he had a minor one and at first his right eye was all messed up thats how my grandma noticed that he had had one, my grandpa didnt even know he just thought he was dizzy or something...

and now he's completely fine
