Jay-Z to make Another Album???

IP:

Yep, I heard it on the radio this morning.
And seeing how I'm a Jay fan, I got a lil upset with the radio host, cause they knew nothing bout the man.

First off, Jay-Z's current deal with Def Jam says that he's to make 7 albums under Def Jam before his label is up. Jay has only made 6 so far...

If this is true, which is prolly is, then what's jay-z's reason for making another one?

It can't be following through with his deal, he's the fucking president now.

Me personally, I don't want him to make another one. Black Album put the Nail in the Coffin, and coming with another album with make Black Album seem unmeaningful to say the least..

Discuss bitches!

No thats ignorant to be saying that. As few REAL EMCEE's we have You want him to not make a new album because he retired? no rapper retires they alwayz end up coming back. Look at biggie and 2pac. Their DEAD, they're one of the fewest sick emcee's ever to grab a mic. People wish Biggie And Pac could still be making tracks. But they're lives had to come to an end. so who's benefiting by Jay quitting?

But, it wasn't Biggie and Pac's choice to quit. Jay quit cause he damn near accomplished everything he wanted to when entering the music business.
He showed cats that he could do it. Even showed them he can do it more than once, and consistently.
He sold out Madison Square in one night. He got out the hood. He influenced people. etc.

So, I don't see how it was ignorant to say I don't want him to come out with another one. Jay is my all time favorite. I feel like I know the dude already, and he already quit and The Black Album was a done deal...no point in coming back.

I beg to differ. Can you tell me what makes Jay-Z so "trash"...

and please don't say the biting thing, cause we would be here all day, and alot of other rappers would be named as "trash" also.

Well, by saying he's trash I'm pretty much saying that I think he sucks. I'll reword it for you to understand; I think Jay-Z was the Nelly of his day. And what makes him trash in my opinion? Uhh. . his music? What the fuck kind of question was that?

I think he was referring to that... everbody got they own opinions about jay... i personally been a fan since he first came out... even before Reasonable Doubt.... if you got a connection with the things that dude is saying.. and the WAY that he's saying it... ya gonna be a fan... i mean, the dude said a lot, accomplished a lot in the face of adversity from friends and fam, kats saying he wasn't gon do it big... he started his own company right off the back... and look at it now... one of the first few artists to start off with multiple deals... that's unheard of in them days!... Jay was definitely ahead of his time when he first dropped... he pushed the limits and look where he is now... not to shit on PAC or BIG... but not even they did some of the things that Jay did... Pac couldn't even get from under Suge...let alone become President of one of the biggest hiphop companies in the industry... not liking jay's music is one thing... but denying the man's skills and everything that he's done to get hiphop to a point where even you yaself are able to do ya thang is crazy talk

i've never been a fan of jay-z myself either

but its not so much the fact that i dont like his skills...the dudes obviously got skills
i've just never really gotten into his music that much

so i definetly dont think hes the "best rapper alive"
