I think its just not active because no good people battle. People who have been here long have elevated together, we all know what everyone else is capable of, we know who we could beat, we know who we would lose against, we know before we battle someone if we will win or lose, so why battle? The only time that doesn't apply is when people of around the same skill level are battling, but those battles always happen in leagues or tournaments, and never in frontlines. What's more, most people have moved on to doing audio, and the text heads have become mostly bored of text.

AND nobody wants to go read and vote on battles between people they dont know, care about, or respect. Thats why new people to the site usually vote on eachothers battles and elevate in their own battle/cypher community.

This is just how things are.
