I was watching this shit on VH1 and it was pissing me the fuck off. Basically, a lot of things they claimed wasn't hip-hop was because the person doing it was white. I was sitting there watching them explain shit like "You're not black! You're not supposed to do that!" thinking, "Why are they perpetuating race so much?" I fucking hate that even they have to throw race into it whenever they can and acting like it's the deciding factor in all matters. Has anyone else seen this and know what I'm talking about?
