Who has more influence, Hip Hop or Orpah Winfrey?

IP:

I thought about this last night as I stayed up watching O because I couldn't get to sleep. There are some rappers who are pissed at her because she apparently aims her show at white/middle class America. They argue she should use her influence to further the message of hip hop, which is returning power to the "people". HUH!?!?!?

Wait a second...okay...That's a noble cause...But, why should Oprah focus the content of her show at an audience she's not even interested in reaching? Also, why don't those concerned rappers dedicate a song to stopping violence against women, or breast cancer awareness?

So, this begs the question: Who has more influence?

Oprah or Hip Hop in general?

Holla

Oprah More influence on middle class white people

Rappers influence on the hood

they both have BAD influences..but oprah is talkin about bullshit..so white america ain't gon react..but the rap game influence alot more than the hood but it affects the hood most..depending on what happens/ ya dig

Why the fuck would somebody rap about breast cancer awareness? That would be the gayest song ever.

lol @ soc

instead of employing the services of beautiful fat-assed hoes in hip hop videos, rappers need to start using terminally ill or handicapped bitches

yeah, the whole point of poetry and the hip-hop artform is not doing something that cliche... for example, the hip-hop version of a breast cancer awareness song would be a storytelling track about somebody close to the artist with the disease or somethin...
