Aol is a peice of crap.
IP:
I get disconnected 100000 times a day, I have even MORE periods in between that where I temporarily lose connection and I have to reconnect. Downloads go at 2 kbps ON A GOOD DAY. It freezes constantly over simple things, emails are often recieved, but unopenable. Oh and I have dialup.
