As far as I know people already have jobs running plants that run on the burning of Coal.

And both produce electricity. The only real difference is that somehow in-between all of the struggle someone decided to release the idea that there was technology out there which produced something called "Clean Coal"

now I can understand that Pure and Clean are synonyms,

but when CNN says we should stand in awe of 99.9% clean coal, I stand in awe of utterly overachieved diligence to preservation of that which is foul.

It's no wonder that people are confused when someone brings up 'clean coal'

and in fact, the person or people who made the term are either of idiotic basis, or simply geniuses. Causing a huge ruckus over the simple fact that they are calling coal, clean. I guess it's because 99.9% Pure Coal sounds 99.9% dirty.

well if it gives 5 million jobs to people then I don't see how it can be a bad thing.
