This Life of Ours where some put God after expensive cars.
and the timid tease those who bear inevitable scars.

A teenage girl can end a life before it ever begun.
and another girl cries at night because some cowards made fun.
For all of the actions there is no way to justify or make it right
How a bad descion made one night can ruin one's life.
Now that gurl who had to make a decision.
Abort the baby or forget college and make a livin.
Because that man lied to her when said he would stay he destroyed her life & will not really pay, but a few 100 dollars 12 months in a year.
and this poor little gurls face is dripping with tear.
Becuse deep down she knows both decisions will cause much pain.
Because of one night, her life will be sorrow like rain.

The ones who finish on on "top"
are the same ones who always seem to drop, What they have and they do something stupid like hit you wife? Or end her life.
Why is that the poor don't have the same strife.
Does the money bring evil, Into any mans heart. I don't think a rich man could ever part from the evil of greed.
So heed my warning as i tell, that being rich might just land you in Hell.

Mistakes that we make, have me ask?
Is what we do on earth such a simple task?
Does he put us here to see how bad we wll fail?
and when we get to far off the edge are we supposed to bail?
The People that bail are they to weak?
For I think He put us here to separate the strong from the meek.
