The Story Of David LeBeau...

Each day he'd sit and gaze at the girl across the classroom
With blue ribbons tied in her blonde hair,
Sarah Matthews.
She passed through,
the corridors with an angel like presence
His dream girl.
But sarah was dating the class president,
Brock Tranter -
hunk and captain of the football team.
There were times Dave would sit wishing he could be more like him
Time when dave would give a limb to be the popular kid,
who caught sarah's eye,
the loud mouth with that cheeky grin.
Instead of being picked on,
or put down by Brock and the bullies
Who treated him like shit,
spat on him and stole his lunch money.
It wasnt funny,
the more he sat thinking, the angrier he became
and Dave made up his mind to have it out with Brock the next day.
Dave stayed true to his word,
saw Brock and rained him with punches
he was a Glutton for Punishment. .Dave gave him what he wanted.
Brocks nose was busted,
all you could see was the blood rushing
Dave stood back,
chuckling with a sick smile he felt comming.
An evil glare in his eye,
proud of what he'd accomplished
Revelling in the respect he'd gotten,
and he wanted more of it.
His ego grew,
and with it grew the need to feed it
The more attention kids paid him,
the more he'd use the stone to bleed it.
Gradually, his five minutes faded - the kids didnt wanna know
he was yesterdays news, and by now his story had grown old
Went from having his head in the clouds,
to bein just a face in the crowd
from the talk of the town,
to bein someone no one cared about.
The red glow in his cheeks turned grey with his downward spiral
dave was hoping to hit the brakes on this never ending Cycle.
he slumped into a state of sloth,
drug down with depression
dave became sins posterchild,
he'd witnessed all seven.
but Sloth became unbearable,
he couldnt take this living hell
so he loaded the barrell,
raised the gun to his head and shot himself.

nice concept, vocab could of been better but over all it was nice.

wow that was real good...ive read a similar poem...but it wasnt as desciptive nice shiiiiiit Vortex-like the way it followed one kid...the poem (if u care) was where they passed the sins if yu get me...like Craig was lustful of clair who was greedy to...blha blah..nice tho
