I dont understand why so many people but no feeding as a rule then make a rule about who spits 1st. I find it pointless cause if i cant feed off your verse then it doesnt matter who says what 1st. Maybe i am not understanding something, can someone clear up for me why people do this.

no feeding is the gayest lamest saddest no skills involved rule ever! feeding is a major part of battling and shows you are actually freestyling and not just using a pre-writ verse, people who use this as a rule dont want people to see the differences between their verses which shows who (if any) pre-writ

Well A "Freestyle" On A Keyboard Is Already De-Meaning. There Isnt Much Challenge In A Freestyle Text Verse, So Feeding Shouldn't Be Allowed Fuck Face.

If ya going one on one...face to face...then yes, feeding should be allowed cuz it shows tha cat has the skills to remember the disses laid out to him, then work them around in his head and spit them back in a very short amount of time.

If it's text, idiots...
Then there should NEVER be feeding allowed cuz the flipper has pretty much all day to print the shit, study it, and counter each line with a nice flip.

If no flipping is a rule...
It still sucks to spit last cuz, same thing can happen...
Your opponent can just print out the verse and then counter it line by line, bar by bar and produce something harder and meaner.
For instance, if his first bar opens by dissing ya looks...
You can go one better and diss his talent...
He disses ya mom...
You diss his woman...

See what I mean...
It's not feeding or flipping, it's finding stronger shit.
With the time to do it, cuz I see tons and tons of motherfuckers pull the, "uh...gotta go eat, gotta go play ball, gotta go out for the night..."

If you don't think that cat is studying ya verse and figuring out how to beat it you're an idiot.

He took off, so now he's got literally hours or sometimes a couple of days to think and bust ya verse.

There should be some kind of mandatory "spit first in ya last battle, spit last in ya next"

it should still be allowed, this is freestyle battlin on the net, whoever said the rules are different????? as far as I'm concerned the idea is to replicate a freestyle battle on your comp, who stepped in and said "we need new rule for internet battlin?" you battle , people vote, the winner gloats simple as that, anything else is elementary

So I Guess Every Lil Bit Helps, How Bout One Of Yall Battle Me With Feeding Allowed, OK? And Spit First, Whos Down?

I'm still not familiar with typical battles here and what typically are the rules. When I use to battle (on an old site), a deadline was alway stated... like Thursday 6 pm. This would pertain to blind spits and each person have to post with in 15mins of each other. So if i posted my verse first, my opponent had to post with in 15 mins of me or it's a forfeit. If a person can't make the deadline, there'd be an extention or if one wanted to just go ahead and post theirs, the opponent would have to post by the deadline...

Now that I think about it, the way I use to do it is pretty complicated....

there is two ways to view this...

PRO:
Some people don't like to spit first, because they see it as a disadvantage to themselves, so if you say "No Feeding", then they opponent wont be so hesitant to battle

CON:
Feeding is the most IMPORTANT to battling...that is what is used for personals, and make the punches better. Plus, they clown your opponent and are more creative

To me...IT DON'T MATTER
