Sometimes just the two of us, other times-
The children nestled in around us.
I dream of dinner parties and restaurants,
With our friends around us,
Laughing and talking all night long.
I dream of picnics, and walks in the park,
And car rides, and holidays,
Tickles and kisses, school carnivals
Birthday parties, and Christmas’s..
I dream of your body against mine,
Your lips on mine, your hands on me...
I dream of the days and nights of passion,
Of losing myself in you,
Forgetting the moment where I end, and you begin.
When the rest of the world becomes the dream,

I dream of growing old,
Children long moved on with their own lives,

I know exactly what I want to say in reply to this peice. Except I don't. I know one thing I wanna say, but I don't know the rest. Most of the rest is just technicle. Anyway, I'm confusing enough as it is so I'll just say it.

I loved this peice.

I really did. I mean, there were technicle stuff and poetic stuff about it that I loved. Like, despite the lack of a rhyme scheme it still flowed and manuevered beautifully. It was like a flashflood of words in the proverbial canyon that is poetry. Even certain words at points might not of seemed to of fit in, but they fit like a jigsaw puzzle. And the entire concept of being so close with another person and living a perfect life is so foreign to someone like me, yet you make it seem like it is such a possibility.

This is just some damn good, and heartwarming, material.

The purity of emotions and imagery was easy to access. You didn't seem to stick to any kind of structure (or at the least not rigidly). Which gave it an extra edge of flow and poetic essence.

The message itslef was hard hitting. Though not in exacts, it was still relatable. Especially how you depicted the closeness between you and that person. Though perfection coming out of that is fleeting (from a personal standpoint).

I tried to keep it simple, like a daydream.. because I feel that that is what love should be, simple and easy, just there, if that makes sense... Without all the complications it tends to come with in real life, outside of the daydream.
As Necro said, the concept of the perfect life is so alien to most of us, sometimes to dream it is the only way to experience it.
