He's the illest mainstream rapper out there......................Because while other rappers are rapping about hoes , bling bling and their vechiles.......................D.M.X is spitting hardcore and real shit.....................D.M.X is underground............................He's a real emcee.................

DMX is nice on tha mic.......no doubt about it.......however he has made songs about money just like everyone else........and his new shit is no where as near as gritty grimy and hardcore as "its dark and hell is hot"........since the end of the Damien trilogy he just hasn't had that hunger he used to emunate (misspelled i know) one thing about D though no one wants to fuck with him.......and that is real.............1

I think hes o.k, but to say he only raps 'underground' is untrue. He does put out commericially orientated tracks, but he does also have gritty,hardcore lyrics.

Anyway, I personanly arn't a great fan, but to say that he isn't ill would be untrue.

Why does rapping about money make your mainstream/commercial? I bet if you go through every rapper you class as underground you will find something they have wrote which is about money. Money songas aren't really commercial, it is the way you present them. By saying money songs are commercial, your saying somebody who wrote a song abotu the money 3rd world countries deserved (for example) is commercial. It really makes me think people are stupid when they say songs about money are commercial, it's the way its presented. Oh yeah, DMX is bangin', real head nodder.

DMX is straight but to say that he's tha greatest is deffinately a groupie's words. He's def. in tha top 20 and does come straight and hard. But i gotta give him props on where tha hood at cuz that is a hott track and should be recognized as a hood anthem.

X is on his game with this new LP on the real. That shit wit Killa takes it back to when X was real grimey and street. Even if he's not the greatest, DMX is without a doubt a legend simply because we still haven't seen anything like him. His originality is off the meters, his flow is through the wire, and the only other cat I seen bring as much energy as X is Busta. Bottomline. I would love to hear X and Jigga team up again but we might not ever see that.
