check in..lucky i just saw under search there was a thread for me..

About face....

he started young reading the hype, was the young wild type-
would watch mike tyse and dream of his own fight night-
he was tall for his age, strong willed rage filled mulato-
single parent home, mom never gave up and that is his motto-
like oriental thugz his school scuffels -brought up a tough Chin-
statistics added his background negativity and made a bad frac-tion-
Action resulted in a cause, so he went fast forward without a pause-
seen the rich buildings across the bridge that he had to fly across-
sign of the cross "god help me" for hes about to take the plunge-
out of the bunch he was the only one picked the coach had a hunch-
seen the eye he says but you know him the nonbeleiver-
u should have heard the screams of his mom on the end of the receiver-
olympic bound this kids' a 49er in his quest for the gold-
first round he faced a cuban and he was the best he was told-
points up final verdict he came out victorious off this match-
three more to go and the golden goose from the egg would hatch-
tied on latch safety of his headgear kid was ready without haste-
but he almost got there finished second-pissed with A-Bout-Face..get it!!

hes standing, lookin- shes beautiful, no matter what others say
later to be looked back on, as if just the other day;
if he'd have it another way, wouldn't take it, no matter what
or trade her for anyone..well, maybe a girl w/ a fatter butt..
but, shes the perfect love, his own true, one, saving grace
cheated once, realized its not about saving face
he done admitted it, the last, one, final blow...
knowing by next week he'll only get a finer hoe.
tehe connection broken, a divorced friendship had
but its harder still, to say goodbye- to love once had
the love they shared, and w/ out a doubt still chase..
both knowing, beautys rare, but..its not about face.

im goin with bribeone cause he had better flow and wordplay and was longer. next time bribe dont end your verses with a hash (-)mark, it hard to read that way try slashes. feeble it sounded like you didnt try that hard at this than bribeone. vote=bribeone

aiight...on the realz...bribe took this easily...i mean his whole
verse was better....better vocab...flow..and better grasp on the
topic....feeble...u was aiight....but u need to come better than
this......

damn. Okay.
feeble- your verse was too bloody short. It had a lot of emotion, but sadly, it was played out emotion that we've all seen before. This was a good topic, should have looked into it deeper. Your flow was okay, but there was a very little wordplay. Try to elevate all of that.

bribe- very nicely done. your verse was full of excellant wordplay and a take on the topic that I didn't think of. Your flow was really good, and your interal rhymes were dope. you took this hands down.
