illmatic, why is this even a question? prolly the best CD ever, not just of Nas. And when i say ever, i mean of any music ever released... in my opinion anyway :P
Stillmatic was great, but no where near illmatic. Gods son and it was written were pretty good, but a bit too commercialised for nas. I am and Nastradamus were garbage. |

^word...But The Lost Tapes isn't exactly a Studio album. Alot of people heard the songs around the time I am.. and Stillmatic were released.
The funny thing is, if he replaced some of the songs on I am... with the songs that were supposed to be on it from the lost tapes, I think it would've been close to classic if not classic
