yo Amend that used to happen to me, I'd be able to freestyle like you can't believe and then I would get stuck writing for days on one verse... even weeks to get it right. Know what i learned? If you want the verse to be off the hook when you spit it, it takes that long period. If you want a quick solution then just sound out every three or four words and work with the way they come out, don't try to stick to one certain thought and carry it through trying to make it work no matter what, you have to be willing to change the original idea into whatever comes to you - and as time goes by you will learn to change that and do what you want while still maintaining a dope flow, ect.

but if you're gettin an idea in your head and thinking that there must be a way to make it work, it's not always true
