Well, it's been a while since we dug around in Chrit's head and since that was pretty well received, I thought I'd bust out another one for those of us who like a good "get ta know ya".

I wanted my first interview of 2004 to be with another well known head around here, and, I think The Realist more than qualifies.

Here we go...

#1, Didn't know you were black till I saw a pic...Do peeps make that mistake much around here?

In my picture thread alot of people say, wow your black. I am actually hispanic. Born in the USofA but both parents from the Dominican Republic

#2 How long you been modding, why do you do it?

I became a mod in October, and its just cause Alldig modded me when he was planning on selling the site anyways. Then when I was banned, I was de modded...and was recently made a mod AGAIN but only for the SS.... that wont last long as I posted that I dont want to do that anymore...

But Realist for Supermod is still the campain slogan!

How do you utilize that shit in real life...in other words do you? Or is the net the only place where this funny as shit humor comes out? I've heard about peeps being all quiet in real life, but being able to express themselves openly only online...that you? And if not, does the shit work with girls, dawg?

It depends on who I am talking to.. my friends get my sense of humor but its VERY sarcastic and dry.. BUT I am VERY quiet when talking to girls. As my cousin put it, I cant talk to a girl without a keyboard in front of me.

#4, You mentioned you'd been banned, to be honest, it happened so fast, I barely knew it'd gone down. What got you banned? How long ago was it? And, as a mod, maybe you know this...does anyone ever get banned here for good? Seems forgiveness is pretty rampant, either that or guns are jumped like freakin hurdles around here.

Heres the jist of it. One day I logged into RB and saw that we had two new owners, Cprog and Strobe. In the forum that only mods can see The End started a thread to say hello and that if they needed help he was willing to help out. After about 15 minutes he was taken off Admin and put as a Supermod... with no explanation. He started an AIM chat room and invited the mods who were online and the two new owners to see what was up. In the room Cprog acted as thought he did not care about what we were talking about. 4 hours later we reached an agreement...End would be put back as Admin, but all major decisions had to be run by the 2 other guys. During the third or so hour of the chat, were it seemed that they were not going to give End his job back a few mods, myself included were angry and went around RB and started deleating alot of threads. The next day we were banned for it.

I dont know the policy on banning/unbanning so I cant give you details on that.

#5, What's up with SS? I haven't been paying attention, Deacon quit, Sureal quit, White Lightning quit, and more than half the peeps are no showing. Yeah, the last 'weeks' was during the holidays, what's everyone's excuse this 'week'. (Using semi quotes cuz we don't exactly do it every week). You're da man there now, aren't you? How ya plan on fixing the problems?

I'm a part of a three man team, Deacon, Maven and myself. The SS has been plagued with no shows so there not much I can do. Im at a cross roads as what to do. If I close the battles on the due date only about 8 of 32 showed for this week, week 9. But if I close the battles, accoring to the rules if you no show you are out for at least 2 weeks. If I close the battles we lose some quality guys in there...and, not to be mean, but we would full of new writers who wont know what a real SS verse should look like. If they were faced witht he likes of Sand, Sureal, Cam, G Hod they would see the level of writing required to make a name for yourself in the SS...but come on..the kids are against "Kclipz 4 Murking" I mean..come, the fuck, on...

#6, So, when the storms finally settles in SS...who are the up and comers you see that have the potential to reign? (and I'm not trying to get you to mention me), who do you see as possibly being able to make an impact there in the future?

This is going to sound fucked up, but I havent read anything in the SS. I mod it with a fair even hand, but personally...the SS has about 3-4 people who are even worth mentioning.

#7, Got any New Year's resolutions?
Stop being lazy, and save money. It's been working cause in one day I FINALLY got all my college application work done, nevermind I've had it in my possesion since about November.

#8, You're a member of Regime...at one time, it seemed that crew was the most feared and respected gig going. Now it seems, unless I've missed something, that most of the crews are pretty much dead...and if they aren't, they're strictly in name only. Crew battles are few and far between, and when they happen, at least I don't take them very seriously. What's your take on crews and where they are going and why do you still rep one?

Thats a valid point, but the reason there are no real crew battles is that if you sat down and looked at each roster you would be able to tell, easily, who would win. There is an abundance of unestablished crews...and they really are not even worth talking about. From the established crews theres only a few worth even looking at.

#9, I still don't know that much about The Realist. You keep a pretty mild profile. If you had control of the evening for one night (without getting insane with money and babe fantasies), what would be The Realist's idea of a dope night? A realistic dope night.

In real life, umm, probably live a day from Fast and Furious. Drag race, party, sex with a fine girl, repeat. I'm a simple man with simple pleasures.

#10, Aside from the banning and being allowed back thing...Have you ever "retired" from this place, or just catch enough beef to say, "fuck it"? If so, what made you sign off, AND, what made you come back?

A few days back I made a thread saying I was gone from RB forever... and I was planning to. The Sureal got me on AIM and we talked for a while. He convinced me to stay but now I'm just about 1 strike from being gone again. The biggest reason is just kids who refuse to follow the rules and then bitch and moan when people enforce them. What I hate is the people who double talk 'ohh its just the net' then get all pissed when someone makes them look stupid. I say if you hate this place so much just fucking leave...there more sites on the net.

#11, How would you run RB for 1 week? (some ask day, god for a day, president for a day, whatever...not enough time to me). If Tha Realist was in charge of banning, hiring mods, reversing wins, all that...How would it affect the RB newb? How would it affect the vets? Who's ass would be outta here and who would end up being your right hand...and of course, why?

I would just get End on AIM and start listening to all his suggestions. The Mod list would be VERY different...for one... crew mods only for established crews. The S.Mod list would almost be 100% different. I would pretty much just go with whatever End suggest as I feel he knows the most about how to better the site. The reason I know alot of people wont like me, is the fact that I'd have a no tolerance view on almost everything. I would only need a day on RB to make changes...the other 6 days of the week I'd probably spend answering the million PM's I'll get about why LYriKal Murka KynG should be a Front Lines mod and how PaC NiGGaZ FouR Lyfe got dicked out of a win.

#12, Well, in closing, I'd like to say that I, personally, hope you don't leave. I think ya funny as shit when you wanna be, you're more than fair as a mod, and you seem like a cool person all around. I see your sig reps a managment company...Wanna say anything about that before we close this bitch down? Do a bit of marketing? And...any last words for tha peeps?

It was fun, and I plan on staying around until the fall...if I get back to school I'm going to be alot less active...but such is life. As for CitiBoyz...it belongs to my friends, mothers, boyfriend. He is Eric 'Chex' Rios. I put it in my sig to give him some more exposur and he said that if anyone goes to the company, sent by me, and gets signed I'd get a cut..so hell its free money.

They should make a forum for interviews, but during those interviews there should be like 4 people asking questions.. that way it would give it a more indept interview on the person.

that way there is less complaints, less idiots joking about things. it gives us a better understanding about the people interviewed. and we can interview admins etc as well.
