Umm i got this idea from someone esle but i was thinkin about how long i've been listening to hip hop and even though its cliche now i wanna ask,
When Did You Fall In Love With Hip Hop?

Personally i remember the exact day, it was the day b4 the 4th of July, i was 8 and my brother had just got out of jail that morning, he drove me around with him through the Bridge. Illmatic had dropped like a month or two before and while he was smoking he played It Aint Hard to Tell in the car and i was hypnotized, he let me hold onto the cd and i absolutely fell in love with it and identified what Hip hop is. I remember the day because my brother died the next night, R.I.P. Rob. so whats ya'lls stories? 1luv.

2 occasions

my first kiss - house party

it was an offical love:

came home from school, and my brother was with his friend were listening to the radio when a song came on...they were both talking about the beat and i was like..wow...this guy sure is smooth

i later purchased the album and was let down...that was the only smooth track on it

i was also exposed to weed at the same time

Nothing but a G thang - the chronic

anyone who fell in love with hip-hop as a little kid will now what im talking about....

you hear it thru your life but u dont really acknowledge... like in the early nineties and late 80's NWA and Vanilla Ice and the chronic and all kinds of stuff were being played, but i didnt actually realize it was hip-hop... was too young so i didnt really see a difference in any music... but when u get older you can distinguish.. thats why the first time i truly realize hip-hop was different (lol and better...) was in 1995

When 36 chambers came out. Honestly i didn't even like Wu Tang Clan i just got it cuz my big brother liked it so i brought it first (i used 2 b an asshole) then i listenned 2 it and was amazed by the way they were spitting. Shit blew my entire mind, back then i had the Tape jumpoff so i was breaking the rewind button on my joint trying to find the exact spit "Can it Be all so simple" started. Damn bring back memories i should go listen 2 that joint again
