Loneliness is killing me, eating at my heartstrings,
Tearing me apart at the fibre of my feelings,
Aches and pains, nothing to gain, all is lost,
Holy wings, ripped at the seams, wires are crossed,
Fuses blown, anger reigns over a world of misplaced hope,
Love of suffering and lives lived with sin, beyond a joke,
There to provoke the aid of war destroying all the simple folk
That follow the flock, jump on the wagon, the earth gone up in smoke
Imagery is real, and reality is violence, violence prays on idle hands
That the devil sounded sirens, weapons firin' bullets shroud the land
Cover the earth like locousts, a plague of human demand,
Like a thorn amongst the roses we sit and spite, all that is different
A beautiful flower, deprived of its petals, deflowered in cruel innocence
No defense, like heartless serpents we hide and scorn
Dread the day the sky fell in, and darkness cloud the morn...

^ i found this line to speak truth. which is kinda scary when you think about it really.

i liked the flow of this piece, i thought it was smack on, and sounded good when read out loud. i like how you went into great detail to describe some things that can be put very simple, like ppl who dont think for themselves, that follow everyone else. this piece is a piece that can be taken many different ways, and i feel covers a wide variety of problems in and with society. it was a nice read yet again.
