Although I am flattered, I would never dare submit myself to the ranks of such superior intellecs. I look to those indiviuals in Awe, and gain insperation from such profound genius, but never would I make a comparison of such. Never... That would be intellectual blasphamy!

This is a very broad topic, and I can not single out any five so I decided to list those that influence my political insights most. Later I'll list those in other areas of studies such as science and physics, but right now I want to list the philosophy of those who I find most enlightening in the realm of politics. They have had a tremendous influence in shaping my views and understandings of such complex issues.

No particular order:

Niccolo Machiavelli - the humanist

Thomas Hobbes - the realist

John Locke - the democrat

John Stuart Mill - the libertarian

Thomas Paine - The columnist

You cant really judge pure intelligence like that, there might be some person no ones ever heard of that has an IQ of 500. Who knows? Although I do respect Isaac Newtown... apples are dope

@John Locke Listing: He was actually not very bright at all. I'm still learning about this...I'll explain in more detail later.

@Hitler: Hitler was a moron. He wanted to create a 'superior' race. One in which he was not a part of. He expanded Germany and wasn't even German. He could have taken over the world if he hadn't kept pissing the Americans off with his violent acts against our trade ships. He was easily in the position to completely dominate Europe. Could have taken the time to build up, and easily smashed America. Nope, he had to get us invovled too early...and paid for it dearly.

My List:

Maralius
Nathaniel Trubaneau(sp?)
Einstein(Even if he was mentally handicapped in some areas. You can't deny him)
Mozart
Connifer Estleben

Hitler wasn't a genius, more like a motivational speaker. He was nothing more than a frontman. yeah sure he was the source but his generals did all the real work... the dirty work. A Marine Sniper had Hitler within his cross-hairs but was not ordered to kill him b\c the US was more afraid of Hitler's generals than Hitler himself.... not a lot of people know this. This is first hand knowledge from an actually 1st Fssg marine.... aka my dad

^What's a 1st Fssg?

How old is your dad?

Unless he learned it in the military history courses they provide you with...your dad is full of shit.<---Only applies if your dad was claiming to have been there.

shakespeare is far from the smartest. . i`d imagine a few people on this board are smarter, sadly. . mainly because of the time period he lived in . . and Hitler was just a great public speaker, nothing more. .

people at mensa, i believe, are the most intelligent

I stated Shakespeare was one of the smartest heads in my opinion
Because he is a poet to me a master of all poets. A lot of people
Would say that ridiculous one person in example my boss.
He didn’t believe Shakespeare wrote all those plays.
But I believe so. Each book he written one can tell this was a
Touch of a certain individual style. But blah believe what you want
Tragedy death deceit were all in his plays and he set the stage for a lot
Of plays and TV shows movies that are being done today. But , just my opinion

I have another who I believe was on of the top. Well my co worker does
And I agree with him.

Hawkins a scientist he made a lot of theories and discovered things as well
Like the Black Hole something about inside the Black Hole when Light is
Being absorbed . Light is moving in a circle and in that circle its going faster
Then the speed of light which time is being stopped. I think I am on point
About what he said, some crazy stuff. For him to just think about that. He must
Sit around for hours just pondering and thinking about it.

Let me stop rambling
