best software for audios

I have just bought a music creater software which is really comlicated to use and won't work for some reason, something to do with the card not supporting it and im pretty much fucked. It's made by cakewalk and expected it to be good can you please tell me what im doing wrong and how to mix beats and use them on this site to add... cuz i have some amazing songs for them. Thankyou and if you have any other softwares that you use can you give me some please.
