Sympathy is what we have for each and one another
when ya feelin down people confront you like a brother
it's a feeling where it's right to share your emotions
when it's alright to let those tears start flowin
sharing pain to let people know how you feel
like when you lose a friend, it's the real deal
feeling pity but trying not to emphasize how much you sympathize
towards a good friend that's going through rough times
trying your best to keep everything on the down lo
but still trying to say how much you really care tho

**Past**

He rememberd times when things were looking grim
but help shortly came to his side "cheer up slim"
everyone was there showing him they really cared
he returned the favor showing the feelings he shared
he was complentating suicide with a kinfe by his side
lost all my pride, feeling like shit deep inside
couldn't provide he was denied, though he tried
wanted to die, when the knife and wrist collide
just when kinfe got into hand she walked in
she ran in, grabbed the knife, the crying begin

**Present**

Since that day, somehow he had transformed
a strong relationship with this girl had formed
he said that he was always gonna be there for her
but then, the worst had to happen, it had to occur
she got shot while tying to defend from a no good mugger
he wasn't there, now she's dead, he can't hug her
now's he sits in jail cause he used a bat called slugger
because he finally found that guy who mugged her

Sympathy goes along way in the world today
being there for one another makes the day
sympathize for everyone and be there
don't let a moment waste, show you care
show them your love, so them the truth
show them you care, so them with proof
don't waste time.....think about it

this was a hot poem, i was feeling where u was coming from with it....readin it sound like u could have made this into a good audio cuz the flow of it was real nice....sorda like a rap/poetry.....it was hot tho...peep my shit, 1
