The Beauty Beyond Your Robes

Behold the fading of my robes
Outshone by your beautiful attire
The pain of my rainbow dripping dry
And the smouldering of my fire
-
You engulf me with a youths delight
And mute my screams to call my hush
Bring silence when I scream to fall
Your attendance makes my emotions blush
-
You cut my diamond heart to specks
And mould it back to shapes more pure
And cast iron will from furnaces fire
That burns from fever without cure
-
Miles from places travelled in dreams
You lie passive in your turmoil’d tower
A kiss from the lips of this blinded fool
leaves a tranquil queen and a heart devour'd

Beyond my dreams of kaleidoscopes
Lies a soul that I admire

wow, nice poem, it has a nice flow to it and you use beautiful words to describe your feelings, good job and keep it up, i especially liked the how the first four lines connect with the last four, the most powerful......1
