im 17 right....and i no a shit load about hip hop... im not hating on you in no way at all.but you speaking as though hip hop is only rapping..hip hop is far more than that..its far more than graffiti,breakdancing,dj'ing and mc'ing. hip hop is now a life style. and if you living the lifestyle you got diffrent belifs and morals than most of our elders. hip hop has allways been a culture and allways will be. In a way its kind of like a religion..without a god..(unless you look 2wards the sky and remember 2pac and biggie). but everything you spoke on abou t"hip hop" you only talked about rappers. hip hop has allways been so much more than that. hip hop is so deep in my heart nothing will ever tear it out. its not like a song you like and then get sick of it once you hear it 20 -30 times. Ive watched hip hop evolve from the days of talib's forst single. To the so many diffrent styles in it today. you ware right .we only used to see a hip hop beat on tv once a week..now we got whole shows dedicated to the music. but look pastt the music the art and the dance.. We living a life that is to be the future of the world. Our belifs that we ha learnt from hip hop is whats gonna save this planet. Us as the peole of hip hop belive things our parents and elders never even cared about ..and its ben taught to me by hip hop............................ hip hop is more than music..its a way of life and if your willing to use what has been taught to you in a positive way we can create a brighter future for our children to come............
anyway just my opinion....
