for me...i elevated so much in text..if oyu read my first battle you can tell that i elevtaed.
i also elavted in poems...my poems used to be wack as fuck...now they are way better...

also audio..im still elevating in audio but so far it has helped alot...

My text has pretty much been the same all the way through...

Although a couple dudes helped me with mic etiquette and track production.

For instance, you look @ someone elses work, and mould the basics around it.
Take others criticism & use it. Just think what you lack in yo verses & what you need to do to make it more appealing.
Topically, you have to have depth, otherwise its just a verse full of vocab. You got to have a basic storyline/plot to draw the viewer in, vocab is also important. You also need to include emotion to reach out, and you have to write in different perspectives.
Audio I don't know. I don't do it.

My English has improved, still elevating in text but compared to my very first drops on here, I dare to say I elevated a lot. It remains an on-going process.

yeh this site has helped me.
In more ways than one.
lyrically and relising what people want to hear and listen to. I purposly drop extreme topics to see if anyone likes that sorta shit. That way I know if people would listen to it or not.
It has also helped me with bar length and so on, before I came here, i had no clue what a bar was, i had no clue what structure was.
Some may think structure has nothing to do with audio, but after learning it here, then writing shit down to record,my flow has improved extremely.

This site has also helped me see what the rest a the hip hop world is like. They mostly just hater's, not trying to help each other in the game we all love, but trying to milk off the next man like a bunch off bitches.
There is a selected few on this site that are talented and humble, but 60-70% are all about trying to be better than new rv member and so-on.
To me hip hop is a reflection of the world,this site is hip hop based.So trying to be better than a new rv member and putting a them down, is like putting a child down for trying to learn. Everyone here is hip hop.
The way people act here is a reflection of the way the game is going.

One big comptition to be better than each other. fuck being better, I just want to be better than I was the week before. So yeh witnesing guys get so hyper over winning a battle,then forever claiming to own some1 has taught me alot.
Also seeing how fake some guys/girls can be. Not one word of truth coming out of there mouth has taught me to stya true to myself.but all the things Ihave learnt in the way of other people, i have learnt in life aswell,just on rv you get to witness it more clear,and actually analise it.

Listning to other's soundclicks has taight me alot aswell. hearing everything from dope original style's, to alot of played copy cat shit. So yeh, it has taught me to keep my own style, people are either gonna like it, otr not. But at least Im using my style, and not what ive heard and copy'd.

ive elevated tremedously in text like crazy i was garbage as fuck when i started i was like 8-12 as you see my record now ive only lost 5 since then and won 46 as i started getting better and better my audio has improved also cuz i listen to those who dont hate and give real critizism my poetry has always been dope i dont think it can improve much more truthfully

Yeah I probably learnt some shit while I been on here.. Especially since I started recording and mixing my own stuff. I pick up a lot more on the producing side when I'm listening to music now, like when I hear little effects theyve used in professional mixing and I go "damn that sounded nice" so I try and mimic the techniques used to an extent..

Plus I'm all about making my own little techniques up when I got a track I'm working on. I probably should get back into battling again for fun.. But for now I'm mainly focusing on making music. And learning a lot as an artist.
