use it, and the audio help forum dont work. its inactive in there. i posted in there hella times a while back, and no response, until i figured out sometimes. all i need help w/ now is recording it. it says its recording, but its not. i cant hear myself

ahh theres all sorts of fiddling I had to do to get mine to record.
Make sure the red R is pushed... Try going into windows volume control. Putting your mic volume up in there. Go to properties in the volume control, and choose recording. Make sure microphone is selected. Go to control panel, sounds or speech or audio in there or something. Do all the mic tests etc. You'll get it eventually. If you have a pretty good mic, check it doesnt need a 40v power supply, cos if it does you'll need to buy a pre-amp with that feature...
