in a dream that plauges me everynight i see her eyes these dreams they fade into the morning with nothing to say so i'll leave you now. no hugs and forget the goodbyes once i turn this handle and walk down these steps i'll never look back . to see your solem face. never again i wish i could stay longer but i can't because its done but it will never be over because we've come to far. if it werent for the summer and nights we were alone and with the strength she held in the palm of her hands as it dropped to the floor she left to the grey. left to the grey dreams sometimes are our own illusions of what we want and when she would say that i would remember always laying on the floor the hardwood the smell of new the embers we left in the fireplace.just long enough and the voice on the other end of the line,subtle but full of grace would always say ...why don't you write me a line or two and if I wasnt raised with total praise for the simplisitc views i held till i realized it was more than we could face lets take this slow. i'll close this chapter in my life we'll figure out we needed more time. but that window will remain open and the curtains will stay that way because i'll be back in a few days and while you sleep i'll wake you to a hug of relief and for all your disbelief i'll just give you a reason to play along for now . the measure of loss will be left here and put in its place what i'm trying to say is emotion dosent always fade sometimes its the trust and love that keeps it alive now goto sleep and when you wake i'll be ready we can sit down and talk about our past lives o what a mess we've created. lets get over it before we have nothing left to say
